12 Week Transformation
Week 6
Welcome to Week 6
Before beginning each new week of training, take stock of how the previous week went. Go through your Training Tracker and review any notes or portions that you were unable to complete last week. Make up anything you missed as soon as possible.
Let's get started.
BODY
- Bodyweight or strength workouts (Monday/Wednesday/Friday)
- Run (POSE practice + at least one run workout per week)
- Swim (Total Immersion practice + at least one swim workout per week)
- Paleo Diet
- If you are close to maxing out the bodyweight workout, check out the advanced bodyweight and/or barbell modules and prepare to begin one of those programs. DO NOT deviate from the bodyweight workout until you complete all five rounds of 10 pullups, 20 pushups, 30 squats
STYLE
- Read the Watch section of the Accessories module.
- Upgrade your wristwatch.
- Ditch the G-shock or Apple Watch. Opt for a clean face with metal case and band (stainless steel, gold, titanium, etc.).
- While your personal style comes into play here, you can almost never go wrong with a classic divers' watch with a stainless steel case and bracelet. From Timex to Patek Philippe, there are good choices in every price bracket, three standouts being the iconic Seiko SKX007, Omega Seamaster, and Rolex Submariner.
- Weekly Grooming: clip nails, trim body hair, any other upkeep necessary.
ATTITUDE
- Read the HUMINT section of the Social Engineering module.
- Notice who notices you.
- Work on your cold reading skills; try to figure out what a person’s story is before you approach them.
SKILLS
- MMA training two days per week.
- Combatives training one day per week.
- Language Training 30-60 minutes per day.
- Continuing with the weapons training, this week's mission is to schedule your concealed carry class and obtain your concealed weapons license.
- While it is technically possible for the vast majority of Gentleman Spy members to obtain their CCW permits, this does come with legal and moral hurdles and responsibilities. It is up to you to determine your eligibility and moral stance on whether carrying a firearm is a good choice for you.
- It is understood that not every member of the Gentleman Spy program will be able to complete this mission: in many areas of the world you are restricted from owning, much less carrying, firearms; even in some US states this is functionally the case, even if it is theoretically legal to obtain your CCW permit in all 50 states.
If you can not, or do not want to, obtain your concealed weapons license, you can use this week to catch up on anything you've missed or put more focus into another area of the program.
LIFESTYLE
- Read the Information module.
- Spend 15-30 minutes every morning brushing up on world events, local news, and anything you find particularly interesting.
- Visit at least one new cultural attraction this week.
- Visit at least one new restaurant per week.
